Switching Roblox Studio AI tools? A guide for people who already pay

Disclosure
We make Picoo, so read this with that in mind. Every competitor fact on this page links to its source, and we checked them on 1 October 2026. We don’t print their prices, because they change and a stale price helps nobody. Their pricing pages are linked.
Short answer
If a tool you pay for works for you, stay. Switching costs time, and Picoo is not the cheapest option here. Picoo is a paid Roblox Studio plugin (Pro $19 a month, Business $49 a month, no free tier and no trial). It is built for adding working systems to a game you already have, and every turn ends with a count of the changes Studio confirmed, the ones that failed and the ones it couldn’t confirm. If your reason for leaving is credits spent on work that never showed up in Studio, that receipt is the part of Picoo to look at first.
Before you switch: four things to check in any tool, including ours
- When the AI says it built something, can you see what Studio actually confirmed? In Picoo, each turn ends with a receipt that counts confirmed, failed and unconfirmed changes separately. Unconfirmed changes are never counted as done.
- What happens to your credits when the tool's own commands fail? In Picoo, if changes we tried to write failed or timed out on the previous turn, the next turn's base, per-change and context charges are waived, up to three turns in a row. 3D models and image UI kits are still charged.
- Can you undo? Picoo has undo and redo, so you can ask it to step back a change.
- How do you cancel? Picoo plans cancel from the billing portal in your dashboard settings, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods, so start monthly if you're unsure.
If you’re coming from SuperbulletAI
SuperbulletAI is free to start, with a paid tier on top, which Picoo doesn't have. It's built to generate games inside Studio.
What changes with Picoo: you pay from day one, and usage is counted in credits per turn. In exchange, each turn shows which changes landed in your place and which didn't, and turns that repair our own failed writes don't cost you the base credit. If you mostly start new games from an empty baseplate and want a free allowance, SuperbulletAI may still suit you better.
If you’re coming from Lemonade
Lemonade is the most installed third-party AI plugin for Roblox Studio, listed on the Creator Store since August 2025. More developers have shipped with it than with any other plugin on this page, and that counts for a lot.
What changes with Picoo: Picoo is a narrower tool. It reads the hierarchy of the place you already have and adds systems into it, using ready-made recipes for common ones like combat, inventory, shops and leaderboards. If your game already has scripts you care about, Picoo is designed around keeping them, and undo is there if a change goes wrong. If you want broad, general help across Studio, Lemonade covers more ground.
If you’re coming from Rebirth
Rebirth is well rated on the Creator Store, its entry plans cost less than Picoo's, and it gives a few free credits at signup. It's good at turning one prompt into a playable game.
What changes with Picoo: Picoo is aimed at the stage after that, adding and fixing systems in a game that already exists. It costs more per month. If one prompt to a first playable game is the job, Rebirth fits that job well.
If you’re coming from RoCode
RoCode is a Studio coding assistant with a free daily allowance, paid plans that start below Picoo's, and a 14-day refund window. Picoo has no refund window, which is worth weighing.
What changes with Picoo: Picoo writes scripts and builds instances, UI and 3D meshes straight into your place, and reports which of those changes Studio confirmed. If you mainly want help writing and editing Luau, RoCode's lower price may be the better deal.
If you’re coming from Metain
Metain is a natural-language game builder with a free tier and paid plans that cost far less than Picoo's.
What changes with Picoo: you pay more and get recipes for common game systems, 3D mesh generation, a per-turn receipt and a support inbox at help@picoo.io. If price is what matters most, Metain is the cheaper way in.
A note on Roblox’s free Assistant
If you’re learning Luau, Roblox’s built-in Assistant is free and better suited to that than any paid tool here, ours included. We compared the two in Roblox Assistant vs Picoo.

Questions
Is Picoo cheaper than the tool I'm using now?
Probably not. Picoo has no free tier and starts at $19 a month, and most tools on this page start lower. People switch for how a turn behaves: what landed, what failed, and whether a repair of our own mistake costs them.
Can I try Picoo before paying?
No. There is no free tier and no trial. Start on a monthly plan; you can cancel from the billing portal and keep access until the period ends.
Will Picoo overwrite the scripts I already have?
Picoo reads your place's hierarchy before it writes, and it's built to add systems to an existing game. If a change isn't what you wanted, ask it to undo.
What happens if Picoo says it built something and it isn't there?
Each turn ends with a receipt that counts confirmed, failed and unconfirmed changes separately. If our own writes failed, the next turn's base and per-change credits are waived, up to three turns in a row.
Can I run Picoo next to my current plugin?
Yes. They're separate Studio plugins and you can keep both while you decide.
